Mission
The Media & Entertainment SIG will discuss and explore the ways in which the Internet has become a powerful and pervasive form of entertainment in our society; both how it has acted in conjunction with traditional forms of media such as film, print and television, and how it has provided an entertainment experience unique from any other. From the exploration of online communities to a look at the future of entertainment content distribution on the Internet, the Entertainment SIG will host leaders in the industry who will assist in exploring topics related to this exciting new entertainment medium.
